Family Fun Day raises £660 For Charity

BJP Group, including Belmont View Care Home, Graceland’s Care Home and BJP Home Support enjoyed a Family Fun Open Day on the grounds of Belmont View Care Home on Saturday 2nd September. We welcomed the local community to join the fun, as well as residents, family, friends, and our hardworking staff.

Those that joined us enjoyed visits from the Police, Pirate Bouncy Castle and Pirate Ship Slide, All Creates Animal Experience, as well as entertainment from Puma Cheerleaders and The Singing Veterans. Stalls included - Body shop, Knitted Baby items, Food and Drinks, Loud and Clear hearing care, tombola and SARA. We were also lucky to have a visit from the Mayor of Guisborough David Johnson.

Registered Manager of Belmont View and Gracelands Care Home, David Taylor stated “We were delighted with both the turn out and the feedback from the event and feel it was a real success. The last few years have been really challenging for the care industry and we are always looking for ways to reward our staff for their hard work. It was lovely to see so many people from our local community and the residents had a wonderful day mixing with all the families. It was a lovely atmosphere in the sunshine, and we look forward to seeing everyone at our next event. A big thank you to everyone that contributed to make it such a special day.”

The event raised £660 which will be donated to Zoe’s Place.
